Caro Emerald and Alexander Mcqueen

I'd like to dedicate this blog to the ending of something great and the beginning of something new.

Where shall I start? The beginning I suppose, for the more cheerfull part.
I found this really great artist called Caro Emerald through a friend. She has a great voice and recently covered Lady GaGa (Call it lady BlaBla please?). it's a really awesome cover!

So yeah, that's it for the good part. Now the bad part.
Alexander Mcqueen was an amazing artist, inspiring and a blessing to the world.
May he rest in peace.

I've always loved this photo. His creations were amazing, feminine and magical.

Ahhh, so I have NO idea what I'mma talk about today.
I'm a little pissed off right now, so probably about that.. and oh, I made a cute collage for a schoolproject about gen tech. That pisses me off as well. Wanna see it? Sure thing.

Rough translation of headlines: Gen is looking for farmer, but is the love twosided? and the little text balloon: Can anyone tell me how we got this far? So yeah, clearly, I'm not really into gentech revolution OMFGG WEE SAVE THE WORLDDZ!! things, especially not when it's all about the corrupted western companies trying to take advantage of poor farmers in poor countries. it's all about power and money, it's always been. Well hell, I ain't buying the 'save the world with supercrops'-thing.

The poster/collage thing turned out pretty good though, so that's good. (be careful children, it is the scary gentech crops that rest under your bed at night!) Seriously, they're pretty scary, right? The cow-monster scares me too, but the cow-bee is kinda cute.

Oh, but I was talking about how I was pissed off. Yes, so I'm turning 16 next month, and I wanted my own version of a sweet sixteen. (I don't want a car, srsly, what's up with the ugly-car-which-will-be-stolen-within-a-week-fetish in America?!) No, but I DID want a nice lil' party with some booze and a location. Sure sure, my parents would help me. I was planning on asking 50 people. would've been fun, y'know, partying a bit, drinking a bit, just like everyone else does. But noooo, first I was told I  had to have supervision, which sucked but whatever, then all the locations I came up with were denied, and now, I can't serve alcohol anymore. What's next, I can't wear V-tops or short skirts? -sigh-

Can't wait to be 16 and go out with friends, without parents on my back with their 'no-alcohol' crap.

Right, so that's the whiney-part. Anything better in store?
I don't really think so.. I should go and do my homework, yeah,  that's probably the best.
